fried Halloumi & greek salad wrap
Ingredients:
1 (8.8 oz) Halloumi Cheese
1/2 cup Grape Tomatoes
1/2 cup Persian Cucumbers
1/4 cup Kalamata olives
2 Little Gem heads of lettuce (or 1 Romaine Lettuce Heart)
Tzatiki Sauce
Olive Oil
Greek Seasonings (Oregano, Dill, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt & Pepper)
Pita Bread or Wrap of choice
Directions:
Make greek salad: Chop up the little gem lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and kalamata olives. Combine in a large bowl.
Drizzle salad with olive oil and greek seasonings. Toss together.
Start to stack your pita. First spread a layer of tzatiki on the pita. Add the mixed salad on top. Set aside.
Slice Halloumi cheese in thin slices.
In a dry non-stick pan over medium heat fry halloumi cheese. Each side will need about 2-4 minutes.
Place hot cheese on top of your prepared pita and enjoy!
