Basil Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • Lemons *I prefer Meyer lemons

  • 1-3 sprigs of Basil ( if you don’t have basil, sub for Mint, or Rosemary!)

  • 1 cup Organic Sugar

Directions:

  1. Juice enough lemons for 2 cups, place aside.

  2. Create your simple syrup. In a pot on medium heat, add 2 cups of water, 1 cup of sugar and as many springs of basil as you want. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Combine 2 cups of lemon juice, 2 cups of simple syrup, 2 cups cold water. Give it a mix!

  4. Put in the fridge to chill or pour over ice and enjoy!
